Do I have to scale the recommendations to my testing area?

The guidance provided in the Treatment Recommendations tab of your SoilKit results are specific to the testing area indicated in the registration process. For example, if you indicated a sampling area of 1000 sq. ft., and SoilKit recommends 3 lbs of lawn food, the fertilizer should be spread out over the 1000 sq. ft. of your lawn. No extra calculations necessary! If you want to check or adjust the calculations for yourself, for example to use a product you already have on hand, we link to a tool for that here.
