Can I use a different fertilizer than what's recommended? (Fertilizer Calculator)

Do you have fertilizer already sitting in your shed, storage, or garage and want to know if it is safe to use instead of the fertilizer you were recommended by SoilKit? The University of Georgia has a fertilizer calculator you can use to see exactly that! Just input the recommended amount from your SoilKit Assessment tab (step 1) and select the grade of the fertilizer you have (step 2), and the calculator will tell you how much of that product is needed.

Note that the default units for the fertilizer calculater and SoilKit results are pounds per 1000 sqare feet. If you've toggled your units, just double check you're using the same units to view your results and enter them into the calculator.
