Our History

Inspired by a Century of Family Farming History. The SoilKit story began over a century ago with the Woerner Family, who were pioneers in U.S. turf grass production. Understanding soil composition was key to their success, leading them to conduct rigorous soil testing to determine the necessary amendments for optimal crop growth. As the Woerner operation expanded to become one of the largest sod producers in the nation, their science-driven approach to soil testing gained widespread adoption in the lawn and garden industry.
