There are a couple of differences between SoilKit and Auburn Powered by SoilKit, including where the sample is analyzed and what tests are run.
Auburn Powered by SoilKit: Samples are sent to the Auburn University soil lab, which tests for pH, Buffer pH, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, and CEC. This test has recommendations reflecting Auburn research and science that are included with the results. It is a great kit enhanced for Alabama soils specifically.
SoilKit: Samples are sent to a third party AG lab where they test for pH, Buffer pH, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Manganese, Iron, Copper, Boron, CEC, and organic matter.
