What is a Macronutrient?

There are two groups of Macronutrients (Primary and Secondary):

• Primary: Plants use large amounts for growth and survival.
  • Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium are Primary Macronutrients. 
• Secondary: Needed in moderate amounts
  • Calcium and Magnesium are Secondary Macronutrients.
